How To Open Ms Word In Windows 8.1

This worked for me (using Office 2013, but it should be the same for whatever Function version):

Press the Windows key and the C primal together, or swipe in from the right, to open the Charms bar.
Click Settings, and then click Control Panel.
In the Control Panel, click Programs.
On the Programs page, click "Set your default programs".
In the listing of programs, click Word. (I think any of the Function programs volition work here.)
Click "Prepare this program as default".
Click OK and then close the window.

Now endeavor right-clicking the desktop, or a folder in File Explorer, and clicking New. All of the Part default formats should be listed.

I followed the steps - Give-and-take, and the other Function programs, are non showing up in that programs page.

I know this sounds way too elementary and very like shooting fish in a barrel, but this is the all-time manner to exercise it! Go to your home screen by clicking the windows push on your keyboard, this home screen is the 10 have the windows that is easier to use my touch screen instead of but your mouce, anyways without cooking anything blazon in " word". your settings page will pop up then click Microsoft Office 2013 or whichever Microsoft Role yous have then yous should be able to get into it with no problem :)

Cheers, Thank you. So simple. Typiing word certificate or annihilation other than just give-and-take gets very complicated.

Do you know the significant of "default"?

It only has to be done one time!

Of course, you could just add Word to the taskbar or pin it to the Outset screen. Then with 1 click, Word will start with a new document.
